What to Expect

We work together each season to make clothing selections which flatter your body architecture and hair/skin coloring, fit properly, as well as coordinate well with items you currently have in your wardrobe. I also help you to coordinate your new purchases with shoes and accessories that work as well - for a complete, finished look!

We are able to plan the entire season's purchases in a matter of one or two hours, as well as construct a plan for spacing out purchase orders throughout the season to best meet your budget. I monitor the stock availability of items you plan to purchase, so that you do not have to worry about clothing items selling out beforehand - as is often the case in traditional retailing. Lastly, once you receive your new items, I ensure that the items fit you perfectly by accompanying you to the alteration shop.

The Process:

Your initial (free) consultation is scheduled for one hour. We meet together at the studio to first of all get to know one another and discuss your wardrobing needs and goals. You receive an overview of the entire Doncaster purchasing process, a tour of the studio, and advice on how you can begin to strategically build a wardrobe that works.

Next we review the clothing line together, try on clothes that interest you, and determine what pieces that you would like to order. We strategically develop a purchasing plan if you would like to get more pieces than you can purchase all at once. We prioritize the specific pieces and either eliminate some items or space the purchases out over a longer period of time.

Once a decision is made on which pieces to buy, I place the order. The clothes are shipped to me and then we meet back up at the studio for the fitting. The purpose of the fitting is to determine if the clothing fits you properly, or requires a size change or alterations.

If alterations are required, I can drive you to my preferred alteration shop just up the street in Montgomery to be marked up for alterations. For additional convenience, you can pre-pay for the alterations which I will then pickup and hand-deliver to your home or office. Finally, you try on the altered items to ensure that each garment was alterated properly and fits perfectly.
